About this 4K wedding film
The film treats the wedding as a visual story rather than a simple chronology. Shots are selected for atmosphere and emotion, while the edit looks for continuity and rhythm.
The 4K format preserves image detail, but the purpose of the project remains the same: to create a coherent film that is easy to return to, built from the important moments of the day.
This project takes a different direction from a very short highlights film: it is a wedding film in which the images and the edit have time to build atmosphere.

Sometimes exactly what you did not direct walks into the frame.
The sequence that stayed with me from this wedding is the one with the boat on the lake. I wanted strong material from the ground and from the air at the same time. Coordinating the people, the boat, the angles and the drone without making the whole scene feel like a technical exercise is not quite as simple as it sounds.
And then two geese appeared which, on that day at least, seemed very much in love. :)) They had absolutely nothing to do with our plan, but they entered the story perfectly. It became one of those sequences you simply cannot order in advance.
Three cameras and the drone at the same time.
At the civil ceremony I had three cameras and the drone. I was the lead camera operator, while Alina helped where it was useful. For wedding coverage I generally use at least three cameras when the situation calls for it, precisely because the moments do not repeat themselves.
During the photo-video session I also created a few small games and movements. The idea is not to make people perform an emotion. You create a situation, then watch what they do with it. The reaction has to remain theirs.
A project can include things that do not become universal promises.
For this particular wedding, the delivery included a complete package of material, including RAW footage. That belonged to this specific project and is not something I automatically promise in every future package.
